Prolapse

Bulging of one or more pelvic organs into the vagina is called prolapse. The individual suffering with prolapse may experience a sensation of bulge or something coming out of vagina. The patient may also face some discomfort during physical intercourse. Some females also experience trouble in the bowel movement.

Prolapse is not life threatening but it can give a lot of pain and discomfort. Anyone can get rid of prolapse by hysterectomy. Under the procedure the womb, is removed which reduces the pressure on the walls of vagina. It will prevent return of prolapse.
