Transvaginal Sonography

Another sonography that helps the doctors to examine the women’s uterus, tubes, cervix, and pelvic area via vagina is called Transvaginal Sonography. The procedure can be a little uncomfortable for the females. But the test is important to establish the exact state of the organs and hence is mandatory.

A doctor uses the probe transmits the sound waves and records the images sent in reflection of those waves. Complete care and hygiene is maintained when the probes is entered or pushed in your vagina. As the procedure is completed with the probe that enters through the vagina and takes pictures of the organs, it is called as Transvaginal Sonography.
