Sterilization (Male and female)

A very commonly practiced birth control measure is called sterilization. For men it is referred to as Vasectomy and for females it is tubal ligation. The purpose is the same and works when a couple does not want to produce any further off springs.

Through the Key-hole surgery, the fallopian tubes are clipped to block the meeting of a sperm and an egg. In comparison to both, Vasectomy is an easier procedure as it is performed outside the abdomen. Dr. Kothiwala states that she promotes Vasectomy as it is less risky and effective than tubal ligation. This birth control or prevention procedure is cheap also in men.
